Selma Railroad Days - October 3 - 4, 2008
 Selma Railroad Days is entering its 33rd consecutive year.  This event is held the first weekend in October each year.  Selma Railroad Days has live entertainment, food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, rides, special events, carnival, Selma Railroad Run, parade, pageant, and much more!  For more details and downloadable entry forms for the different events, click on the link above.

 

East Coast Antique Show
Uptown Antique District - Selma, North Carolina
October 24, 25, 26 2008

 

Something old, yet something still fairly new comes again to the premier antique center in the Southeast.  On Friday October 24th, Saturday October 25th, and Sunday October 26th the forth annual East Coast Antique Show will be open in Uptown Selma, North Carolina.  The show showed significant growth last year, and this year's show is expected to have a record high attendance.

 The East Coast Antique Show will feature exhibitors from New York to Florida, and of course the many antique shops already located right in charming Uptown Selma.  Whether you are looking for antique furniture, lamps, jewelry, glassware, tools, signs, toys, Civil War relics, or just your own slice of Americana, you are sure to find a deal at the East Coast Antique Show.

 

Selma Christmas Parade - December 9, 2008
 
Selma's annual Christmas Parade will take place on a new date in 2008. This year's parade will be take place on Tuesday, December 9th at 7pm. 

 

2009 Selma Car Classic
Saturday April, 18th - 10am - 4pm

The Selma Car Classic is planned for the third Saturday of April – April 18th. Organizers say the show is shaping up to be a good one. The town is expected to be teeming with car enthusiasts as the Selma Development Partnership (SDP) sponsors the eighth annual event.

 

 

All-American Festival - July 4, 2009
Our fifth annual event was a big hit, and next year's festival is scheduled for July 4, 2009.  Complete with fireworks, food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, live entertainment, apple pie baking contest, and rides and games, the All-American Festival is sure to be a hit in the years to come.  If you are interested in becoming a vendor for this year's festival, entry forms will be online in March or you may call (919) 965-9841.
